Welcome
The learning times of a primary school child should be filled with fun, happiness and excitement.
We work hard to build on the achievements of our feeder schools, especially ‘our friends’ at Broughton Infant School.
What our children say
“Teachers Make learning fun, helping and explaining what to do.”

If I ever need help or someone to talk to, I know all members of staff are there to help me.”

“I really enjoyed showing visitors round our school.

What our visitors Say
Dear Mr Stephens.
Thank you for allowing me to look round your school today and for arranging the tour. I enjoyed being shown around by the two pupils and was very impressed with their attitude and enthusiasm for the school.
I have enclosed a couple of thank you notes for the boys they were both very polite and helpful.

Flip sticks:    Guide for parents  How to play Flip sticks

Back in time for year 5
The brutal and terrifying face of Victorian education. Mr Soar takes his year group back in time.
Dressed in black gown with cane in hand, Mr Soar and Mrs Corkery gave very convincing performances of Victorian Teachers. Our children of course rose equally to the challenge by coming dressed as children of the day.
The day started with a short sharp shock on the playground as Mr Soar explained how the children should be lined up and walk into class.
The mornings lessons were all based on the curriculum of the day, starting with the Lord’s prayer. Then moving on to dictation from Charles Dickens followed by hand writing practise on chalk boards.
