'Ensuring Every Child THRIVES'

Lunch Menu

Broughton Infant School provides a free daily hot school meal service, supplied by Alliance in Partnership (AIP), to all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

Broughton Junior School can provide a daily hot school meal service, supplied by Alliance in Partnership (AIP), to all children, for a cost of £2.47, with effect from 17th April 2023.

The menus are on a 3 week rotation and menu choices change twice a year.  The meals are tasty and healthy balanced.  Meals can be ordered online via School Money or the Eduspot app.  If pupils are on a school trip, the deli option can be chosen.

Special dietary concerns can be addressed directly to the catering company, Alliance in Partnership, and they are happy to discuss your child's needs with you.  The AIP contact number for dietary information is 0121 420 3030.

If families do not wish to take up our meal provision they can supply their child with a healthy packed lunch.  No glass bottles, fizzy drinks, sweets or any food containing nuts should be brought to School.

Healthy Eating

The school recognises the connection between our pupils eating a healthy diet and their ability to learn and achieve.  As well as encouraging our pupils to eat a healthy lunch, the school promotes the understanding of healthy food through Personal, Social and Health Education and Science teaching.  Our 'Grow to Cook' project encourages all children to learn through growing healthy food and using this to cook.
